The flight takes under two hours. By late afternoon the jeep is crossing the sand and the camp appears on a ridge: six canvas tents, a long table and nothing else for miles.
Mornings start before sunrise with a walk to the highest dune. Evenings end by the fire, with dinner cooked over coals and more stars than anyone expects.
